Azul Exclusive! Frank Ocean Underground single 'Blue Whale' remix Feat. Jugo Azul

Whats up my fellow entertainers and artists, Id like for you to check out my remix for Frank Oceans underground single 'Blue Whale' feat. myself Jugo Azul. The track dropped about a month ago on Oceans Tumblr, it is one of his rare moments where he raps, and surprisingly does not provide us with any of the outstanding vocals he is known for. This version features Jugo Azul on vocals, with a small portion of freestyle I like to call "Weird Musik", Im not a rapper, but i will drop a few lines here in there, and they are often rather weird. Check it out for yourself, and I hope you enjoy!

Whats going on my good people, I hope you all have been successful in your edeavors and fully blessed through out. This week Im glad to bring you a feature from one of my many many brothers out here in the world. Not only is EmCee N.I.C.E. a member of the greatest fraternity in the world, he is also on his way to being one of the greatest artists of the new generation of Hip-Hop and R&B. He is a native Agelino of Puerto Rican descent raised in both El Paso, Texas and Topeka Kansas.

N.I.C.E has been part of various music movements. He was a member and Co-Founder of an Urban Rock Band known as The Rocturnals, formerly known as kansascali the band was extremely influential in the underground rap circuit in L.A.

The bands hit song "If i.." has been featured on the soundtrack for the 2004 Oscar winning film Crash. N.I.C.E.has always been at the forefront of producing and writing relevant music that is influenced by his own personal story. He is very poetic and aggressive in his approach. He captivates his audience giving them feel good music with catchy melodies.

EmCee N.I.C.E. dropped a video for his new track "Life of the Party" feat. Blake Smith & Stacey Dash. The track is def. a club banger and an anthem for the party heads out there. The track is very mood setting, it sets a mood of rejuvenation! Life of the party, who is the life of the party? Its the person who is the best dressed, walks in attitude right, and confident. He displays this description of rejuvenation well within the video set in a museum. The exhibits come to life and gradually join each other in a lively party, embodying the songs title "life of the party". Vocalist Blake Smith gives an awesome performance as he delivers the hook and bridge with flawless suave and a bright-eyed sense of excitement. WE ARE BACK! THIS WEEKS FEATURED INDEPENDENT ARTIST: "MICROWAVE"

What defines a rapper? Is it metaphors and punchlines? Maybe it's someone who can truly come off the top of their head? Quite possibly, is it someone who takes risks and can draw you in with stories the listener can relate to? If that is the case, Fayetteville, North Carolina's own Junious "Microwave" Smith, age 23, might be your answer to those aforementioned questions. 


Microwave was born in Fayetteville, NC on October 5th, 1988. Growing up, Microwave had intentions of becoming a journalist for ESPN. That passion of writing grew into music, as Microwave started scripting rhymes at the age of 16. He recorded his first Mixtape at the age of 18. His passion exploded into 17 projects that included works between September 2009 and December 2011. All along throughout his education and work have not been thrown to the wayside. Microwave received his B.A. in Mass Communications in May 2011 from Fayetteville State University and currently works at the Fayetteville Observer as a sportswriter and editor. As a member of Outer Limits Music Group, Microwave has been known for his storytelling abilities, as well as continue to provide real Hip-Hop until he can no longer record
another bar.                       
    


Microwave is not your run of the mill over night celebrity garden rapper. He is an artist of substance and culture. Yeah..can you believe it? There are still rappers like that, or should i say artists. Microwave has a very unique delivery, performance and image wise. Just like his delivery of his vernacular, his dress is very smooth and out of the box carrying you to a level of curiosity which is satisfied by his captivating lyricism.

Microwave has a huge discography that stretches from early 2007 to present. His amount of material shows the amount of creative juice that flows under those fresh fitted caps. There is no doubt this young man is going to go far, and will rank among musics "out of the box" artists. Microwave gets the Jugo Azul Stamp of approval for his work in the industry of entertainment and artistry. Keep your eyes out on him, and make sure you take a look at his work for yourself.

Whats going on my good peoples! I hope your endeavors have been successful and completely blessed in this past week. I come to you again this week with a new featured independent artist. This weeks artist was brought to my attention by one of our past feature artists Mr. Dejon Bivens of ATWL Internet Radio station. So of course being the connoisseur of music I am, i had to check him out. I was most definitely interested after hearing the first track titled "Montage", but i was drawn in by his unmistakable story teller style of presentation in the tracks that followed. If you know me, you know i'm not big into the Rap scene, primarily because i don't like commercial blah blah blah. But Mr. Waters is far beyond commercial, it was hard to take the earphones off after i pressed play. I have to give it to the guy, he had my head bobbing to his flow, and thats a Jugo Azul stamp of approval for those of you who don't know.

As read on his ReverbNation profile: Artist / Producer Josh waters was Born in Jamaica ,Queens which birthed his unique style of performing and production. Influenced heavily by Nas and Rakim, Josh was taken under his wing by local record label Murder Inc. as a young kid at the age of 14. When Josh turned 17 he moved to Charlotte NC where he developed a unique fusion of old school hip - hop and and the new synthesized sound which is his trademark. Not only is he a great producer inside of the studio, but in the Spring of 2011 he started performing the beats live at parties, bars and clubs to rock the crowd. Currently a member of Charlotte based indie label Gone Ape Music/Clothing which is taking the city by storm! Hardcore lyrics, great beats and plenty of showmanship. Josh will tell you himself " I just want us "Gone ape music" to be like the Rat Pack of Hip Hop"

As i have been typing this blog i have been listening to Mr. Waters page again, head bobbing just like before. This guy is undeniably already deemed and destined for greatness amongst the world of Hip-Hop. He is the opposite of all the current over rated and over paid "Hype Rappers" out right now "rapping" about the number of chains around their necks and how much of a boss they are. I could really go on and start bombing on some of these "commercialists" but I'll leave them alone. I just hope they don't think it will last for ever...Blah Blah Blah HYFR...

I Be's On the Panel! -Nicki Minaj Possible Judge Choice on Idol.

Various Entertainment News Sources tune into the subject of Nicki Minaj and American Idol.

So its reported that Hip-Hop Super Star Nicki Minaj has been included in the bid for a spot on the judging panel of  the new season of American Idol. Various Entertainment news sources such as TMZ and HipHopWired.com have been honing in on this topic of discussion due to its juicy gossip underlining. 

The first aspect of this tantalizing tabloid teaser is that it has not been confirmed that Minaj will take the spot along side Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson, or has it? From the way it looks, no one knows WHAT is going on. So once again idol has won views off of gossip and the season has yet to start...typical. According to TMZ Minaj is the top candidate for the position, which is surprising seeing there is a true American idol on the panel already, Mariah Carey. Oh did i mention, MC is not feeling this at all. I wouldn't be feeling it either if I knew i had grown up in the age of artists who inspired and coined the term "American Idol", and had to share the podium with one the industries young bucks. 

My personal opinion is as it has always been, American Idol is just one of those business entities that makes money because people follow it. I'm sure that they already locked in over 1 million new and old viewers with this story alone. American Idol has lost its integrity in my view, matter of fact, they lost my count as a viewer after this past seasons winner. What's his name again? It doesn't matter, he will be forgotten completely in the next ten seconds. But enough of how i feel:

So in light of my love of a night out on the town, I have put together a compilation of some of the highlighted nightlife venues in one of North Carolinas largest cites-Fayetteville. From  resturaunt by day, party spot by night to full  bass dropping night clubs Fayetteville is home to some of the best Nightlife Venues in North Carolina.

The first venue id like to get you hip to, is one of my favorites. At one point i was going to every event night they offered, from karaoke at the beginning of the week, to the club nights on the weekend. They offer a wide variety of activities for the night owl through out the entire week. As well have a full bar and one of the best menus in town to stuff your face while you enjoy your cocktail. The nights i would like to highlight are their "Thirsty Thursdays" ($1 night)w. DeeJay Miracle and "Sold out Fridays"-w. DJ Rewind.
