Born Anthony Grant, "Blow Flyy" is a songwriter and Canadian Hip-Hop/ Rap artist from Halifax/Dartmouth Nova Scotia, Canada. Blow Flyy is an artist that likes to work towards perfection. The music that the artist produces and pens are influenced by his family and passion to create great music. With a unique style in performance he delivers a new sound and flow to hip-hop through his to the point lyrics and nostalgic rhythms.

Blow Flyy grew up writing poetry of inspiration, love and happiness; this would lead to his original flow and way that he composes his music. The artist likes to refer to his music as Hip-Hop/Pop because of the pop mix that is infused into his sound. Having been part of the underground Hip-Hop music scene, he took time to study how the music industry has changed and open doors through the Web for independent self financed artists similar to himself. He uses the online community to grow & perfect his craft while discovering new things he enjoys writing about.  The flow in which the canadian native raps does not necessarily rhyme, but since when did Rhyming every line become the must have for a hot song? Today it is almost impossible to find a rapper that does not use profane lingo in every line of their track because a majority of them have a difficult time creating clean content.

Blow_Flyy is a new age artist with new thought process when it comes to the industry. REAL Artist Feature- David Wilson

Who is David Wilson?

We asked in an email interview, he responded, "I’m the vanguard for the process of Digital Collage. I liken myself to Romare Bearden who took the medium of collage and transformed it into an entirely new didactic – especially, in the genre of African American art.

Jugo Azul Vs. Entertainment took a second to reach into the depth of this Neo-Digital Artist and get some insight on who this talented creator of African-American masterpiece is.

Bio: Born and raised in West Virginia, NC artist, David Wilson has had a strong interest in the arts since early childhood. Throughout his early training, Wilson maintained sufficient artistic focus to investigate African American artist of the past. He spent many hours after school delving into the county library’s stacks on the Harlem Renaissance and Mexican Muralists. There he found artists such as Charles White, Romare Bearden, Elizabeth Catlett, Diego Rivera and Jacob Lawrence-these masters would open Wilson’s eyes to a whole new level of black creativity.

This newfound passion carried him to Hampton University where he was afforded the valuable opportunity to study under prolific artist/muralist, John Biggers. Under Biggers, Wilson discovered a deeper connection with his rich black art heritage and began developing a new way of expressing his experiences as a black artist. His work took on bolder, brighter colors and greater emphasis on the human form was evident. His use of line became more fluid as he pulled on his own personal experiences with family, music and culture to create magnificent expressions of the soul experience.

Since obtaining his degree from Hampton, Wilson has exhibited at notable galleries and venues in Atlanta, New York and Washington, DC. He was contracted by ESSENCE magazine to reproduce limited edition reproductions of his original works and invited by the US ARMY to serve as Artist in Residence in Germany during a Black History Month observance. In addition to his fine art and educational achievements, Wilson has gained attention as a public artist, creating several murals throughout the state. His crowning achievements ia “Diverget Threads,Lucent Memories,” a 500square foot glass mural for the Harvey B.Gantt for African American Arts+Culture in Charlotte. 

Wilson’s works rest in the notable private and celebrity collections of Actors, Ossie Davis and Hill Harper, Actresses Ruby Dee, Phylicia Rashaad and Debbie Allen, as well as sports icons, Baron Davis(Los Angeles Clippers) and ESPN anchor, Stuart Scott.

 What is your latest project?

"Currently, I’m working on a public project for the City of Kinston, NC. An over 500 square foot metal and glass sculpture commemorating the blues tradition of the region and African American heritage".

 Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

"Wherever God decides I need to be".

Why should people engage in your material, and keep an eye on your works?

"Because you’ll definitely learn something new. I think you’ll be inspired after that learning and hopefully want to take that work home with you to enjoy and share the inspiration with others."

WE NEED SOME ANSWERS...STAT!!

What is REALLY? Going on in the industry? Why are their so many artists, actors, and icons taking their addictions and illness and social issues public? When we say "taking it public" we don't mean, coming forth and having a pouring of the soul.Literally why are celebrities looking sick, coked out, comatose and simply trashed  every time you see them? Artist Lil Wayne just got done having seizures induced by his drug problem. Codine was the culprit, and  substance abuse was the excuse he admitted shortly after.Sure gives a whole new meaning to "Motha F#($@ Im Ill" doesn't it? SMH.

Ok, yeah, he's gone. What is going on with this guy? This is definitely not the same kid who was running around clothing stores screaming "Yo" at lil girls while at work. It's reported that he did a performance in Ghana and lit a joint on stage which left the audience highly upset. This pic pretty much speaks for itself, no explanation needed, no story to be looked up, simply put...Chris Brown has fallen off. Along with a plethora of other "looked up to" artists in the industry.

Ok, So Beyonce...what can we say about Beyonce? Now a days it better be something nice or her minions and followers will assassinate you. SPEAKING OF KENYA! This is another celebrity who has went off the deep end. But unlike our earlier patients, she might NEED what they are on. Kenya just finished the season on RHOA on Bravo and went out the same way she came in, LOOKING CRAZY.Kenya has been known to be the housewife to lie, and stir up discombobulated trouble for herself and the other housewives on the show.First lying about her relationship with Atlanta Tow Truck company owner Walter and then pretty much going berserk to put the blame on him. She called and claimed him as Gay for not wanting to be with her sexually. But Kenya, didnt you pay him or beg him to be your boyfriend for the show, so you COULD in fact do the show? So why would you be mad? You must have thought you were going to "WOO" him. You woo'd him alright. Your name was Molly, and we was not trying to Pop or sweat anything.

Speaking of "Poppin Molly"...No, you know what. Not going to go there. Proof is in the pudding, and the pudding is spoiled behind Gold Caps.

So what our TRUE question is on this topic is.. What is going on in the industry? Is this truly what artists are going through, or is it the new FAD list for Fans to follow and duplicate as "The Trend"? A bunch of coked out, drugged up, power hungry, pill popping, Bi-Polar cases? Who knows, lets just hope they don't start poppin pills and taking shots of codeine up in washington.

Since its origins in the boogie down Bronx, hip hop culture has spread across the globe.  Emerging from Belgium ready to make his mark is Gus, aka the Great Un-Stoppable.

Gus grew up listening to all genres of music, East Coast hip hop being one of the most influential. He would become entrenched in the European music scene, earning respect as a fearsome battle rapper and freestyler.

In 2007 he released the singles, Share and The Greatest.  As a performer he has shared the stage with DeLa Soul, The Pharcyde, Black Eyed Peas, Common, The Roots, Bilal, Jill Scott, Gza (WuTang), The Game, Xzibit, The Last Poets, Blackstar ( Mos Def& Talib Kweli), Fertile Ground, Tony Touch, Cash Money, Craig David, Beck, and many more ... Gus is currently a host on the Lefto radio show with dj Lefto.

In early 2013 Gus released the single “So Sexy” featuring Erik Rico on the LifeNotes Music label.
